Error Code 17 / URL – Self Help Guide Info:
1: Reboot Your Computer. (If you get the option to update and restart you will need to use that option)
Once your computer has been rebooted, follow this link and download the fix: http://sync.pulsedashboard.net/shares/file/96848cee99311b/
Please download and save to your desktop + run again if error occurs a second time.
2: After opening the script it will bring up a text document explaining the scripts functionality. Exit out of this and press “yes” in the pop-up to run script.
Point will open after script has run and you should be able to login.

- Give full control to winpoint.ini (Start>(this pc/computer/file explorer)> Local Disk C:>Windows folder>scroll down to winpoint.ini>right click select properties>Click on the security tab>select edit>highlight users>check the checkbox for full control allow >apply >yes or ok to any prompts
- Give full permission to the winpoint folder (Start>(this pc/computer/file explorer)> Local Disk C:> Winpoint Folder > right click select properties>Click on the security tab>select edit>highlight users>check the checkbox for full control allow >apply >yes or “okay” to any prompts
**THIS IS ONLY IF YOU HAVE ANY ISSUES OPENING POINT**
- Delete the winpoint.ini in the virtual store (C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Windows) delete the winpoint configuration setting file and try again.
Enter the new password twice and make sure to click update
